Last Minute Pastured Poultry Processing Workshop!

What you will learn:
Where to source your chicks. What meat breeds are available. How to care for them from day one to harvest. How to humanely dispatch, scald, pluck, eviscerate and bag your chicken. You will leave with the skills to do it yourself, materials to reference in the future, and one fresh pasture raised chicken you processed yourself to take home! Lunch is included. The workshop is limited to 12 students. Dress appropriately - wear water proof boots or shoes, clothing will get wet and dirty. You will be given an apron, so cool clothing is recommended.
Cost of $100 includes the class, valuable take home materials and your finished processed bird.
Pastured Poultry Processing Workshop
Only pre paid participants are allowed to attend. No unpaid spectators, please. Children 6 to 12 years may attend free, but they must be accompanied and supervised by a paying student/parent.
The Workshop will be held Rain or Shine. We are sorry, but no refunds will be given due to poor weather, sickness etc. We only have a very limited number of participants and chickens! Each spot is valuable to us.
