The Light Brahma is one of our most popular beginner, family friendly breeds. Due to their size they can be used as a dual-purpose bird. They are gentle and cold hardy, but they need shade cover in the warmer months. This feathered legged, pea combed bird has excellent frostbite resistance. Hens lay 200+ large brown eggs per year. Hens average weight is 9.5 lbs. Roosters average weight is 12 lbs.
